Do you want a key role in designing and further developing modern, cloud-based retail solutions? We are now looking for a Solutions Architect who wants to work closely with customers and development teams to create scalable, sustainable, and business-oriented solutions in technically advanced environments.

About the role

As a Solutions Architect, you have overall responsibility for the customer's solution architecture and play a central role in positioning our solutions towards both new and existing customers. You work closely with customers, business, product, and development teams to analyze business processes, information flows, and needs, translating these into thoughtful, scalable, and sustainable architectural solutions.

In this role, you act as the link between business and technology, ensuring that the solutions support the customer's business processes while meeting high demands for functionality, usability, quality, and structure. You are responsible for documenting, anchoring, and further developing the solutions according to best practices and contributing to the use of standard products as much as possible.

You are also an important driving force in developing customer solutions over time and in communicating the technical vision, both internally and externally, through close and trusting collaborations.

Main responsibilities
  • Analyze customers' retail processes, business flows, and information structures, translating functional and technical requirements into sustainable solution proposals.
  • Design end-to-end architecture and overarching processes based on business requirements, application landscapes, and system environments.
  • Document solutions at a high level according to best practices, including functional, technical, and non-functional requirements.
  • Define needs for customer-specific development, integrations, and customizations, structuring requirements in both text and models.
  • Ensure that solutions follow agreed strategies within architecture, integration, security, development, and testing.
  • Have overall responsibility for the customer's solution architecture and quality assurance from an architectural perspective.
  • Support the implementation of business processes, including configuration and custom development.
  • Lead, support, and coach development teams on architectural issues, best practices, and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Ensure that the solutions meet market developments and contribute to future roadmaps and technical directions.
  • Drive continuous improvements in architecture, development methodology, documentation, and working methods.
We are looking for someone who

Is a business-oriented and technically strong Solutions Architect who thrives in an advisory and coordinating role. You are communicative, trustworthy, and used to working closely with both customers and development teams. You have a curious mindset and are driven to create robust and future-proof solutions.

We also see that you have:

  • Post-secondary education in IT/technology or equivalent experience
  • About 3–5 years of work experience in system design and software development within Java, Docker, Git, microservices, CI/CD, and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), MSSQL/MySQL
  • Good understanding of modern architectural principles and cloud technology
  • Experience with agile working methods
